Washington DC Monuments at Night
Washington DC night Photography
Join me for a wonderful photo walk where we will capture beautiful images of the Monuments in Washington, DC. We will begin with the tidal basin and the Jefferson Memorial, the WWII Memorial, the Washington Monument, and the Lincoln Memorial. You can see some of my favorite DC images here.
Date: TBD
Time: 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Location: We will meet by the tidal basin. There is a parking lot by Floral Park (GPS 38.885224, -77.036065), right off Maine Avenue, where you can rent Paddle Boats.
In this workshop, you will learn about camera settings and composition and how to capture long-exposure images. We will focus on the Jefferson Memorial, the WWII Memorial, the Washington Monument, and the Lincoln Memorial.
The workshop is for photographers of all skill levels. I recommend a Mirrorless/DSLR camera with lenses ranging from 15 mm to 200 mm (15-35 mm, 24-70 mm, 24-105 etc). A sturdy tripod is also recommended, and I have an extra one that I could lend you.
Post Processing: After the workshop, we will have a Zoom meeting so I can show you how I would edit one of your photos in Lightroom and Photoshop
Class size is limited to just 6 participants, so I can work with each of you individually.

About Vito L Tanzi
Hello, my name Is Vito L Tanzi, and I mainly focus on Travel, Landscapes, and Wildlife Photography.
HOW I BECAME A PHOTOGRAPHER
My love affair with Photography began in late 2015. While I used to take the occasional cellphone photo, I have always loved traveling, and combining travel with photography changed the way I look at the world. In late 2015, my wife bought me my first camera in preparation for a bucket list trip to the Galapagos Islands. She looked at me and said, “You cannot go there with an iPhone.” So it began. I read, practiced, practiced, practiced, watched a lot of YouTube tutorials, and went on a few Scott Kelby Photography Workshops. Spending time with Scott Kelby was a dream come true.
HOW I GOT INTO TRAVEL AND LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY
I have lived most of the past 25 years in the Middle East and Europe, where I have traveled extensively. Over the years, I have worked on improving my skills. I have also attended many workshops all over the world. I mainly focus on travel, landscape, and wildlife photography, documenting the more than 70 countries I have visited.
PUBLISHED WORK
My photography has also been published in Washingtonian Magazine, Conde Naste Middle East, Photoshop Magazine, CNN Middle East, Platypod, Singapore Today, Virginia Magazine, Ritz Carlton Georgetown, Georgetown Park Magazine, Saida Magazine, and Visit Washington DC Instagram, among others.
