About
Hello, my name Is Vito L Tanzi, and I mainly focus on Travel, Landscapes, and Wildlife Photography.
HOW I BECAME A PHOTOGRAPHER
My love affair with Photography began in late 2015. While I used to take the occasional cellphone photo, I was never artistically inclined. I have never played an instrument or been interested in creating art. But I have always loved traveling and combining travel with photography changed the way I look at the world.
In late 2015, my wife bought me my first camera in preparation for a bucket list trip to the Galapagos Islands. She looked at me and said, “You cannot go there with an iPhone.” So it began. I read, practiced, practiced, practiced, watched a lot of YouTube tutorials, and went on a few Scott Kelby Photography Workshops. Spending time with Scott Kelby was a dream come true.
HOW I GOT INTO TRAVEL AND LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY
I have lived most of the past 25 years in the Middle East and Europe, where I have traveled extensively. Over the years, I have worked on improving my skills. I have also attended many workshops all over the world. I have developed a passion for Bird and Wildlife Photography in the past few years.
I mainly focus on travel, landscape, and wildlife photography, documenting the more than 70 countries I have visited.
PUBLISHED WORK
My photography has also been published in Washingtonian Magazine, Conde Naste Middle East, Photoshop Magazine, CNN Middle East, Platypod, Singapore Today, Virginia Magazine, Ritz Carlton Georgetown, Georgetown Park Magazine, Saida Magazine, and Visit Washington DC Instagram, among others.
