Hello my name Is Vito L Tanzi and I mainly focus on Travel, Landscapes and Wildlife Photography 

HOW I BECAME A PHOTOGRAPHER

My love affair with Photography began in late 2015. While I use to take the occasional cellphone photo I was never artistically inclined. I have never played an instrument or been interested in creating art.   But I have always loved traveling and combining travel with photography changed the way I look at the world.

In late 2015. my wife bought me my first camera in preparation for a bucket list trip to the Galapagos Islands. She looked at me and said “you cannot go there with an iPhone”.  So it began. I read, I practiced, practiced, practiced, watched a lot of YouTube tutorials, and went on 3 Scott Kelby Photography Workshops. Spending time with Scott Kelby was a dream come through.

HOW I GOT INTO TRAVEL AND LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY

I have lived most of the past 25 years in the Middle East and Europe where I have traveled extensively. Over the years I have worked on improving my skills.  I have gone on many more workshops all over the world.  In the past few years, I have developed a passion for Bird & Wildlife Photography. 

I mainly focus on travel, landscape and wildlife photography documenting the more than 67 countries I have visited. 

PUBLISHED WORK

My photography has also been published in Washingtonian Magazine, Conde Naste Middle East, Photoshop Magazine, CNN Middle East, Platypod, Singapore Today, Virginia Magazine, Ritz Carlton Georgetown, Georgetown Park Magazine, Saida, Magazine, Visit Washington DC Instagram, among many others.

EQUIPMENT

My first camera was a Canon 7D Mark II.   Today I use a Canon R3 and R5 with a variety of lens including 15-35 f2.8, 100mm f.28 Macro, 70-200mm f2.8, 100-500mm f4.5-f7.1.
